Parenting Support

Parenting Support

Parenting can be one of the most rewarding jobs in the world, but it can also be incredibly challenging.

For many challenges that parents and children face, parenting support can be just as effective as therapy with the child. In fact, progress can be quicker working with parents because parents are able to use strategies throughout the week to address the challenges they are facing.

Parent support therapy is usually a great fit if:

  • Bedtime, meal times, and getting out the door feel more stressful than they should

  • Your child is having tantrums or meltdowns a lot, and it's hard to figure out why

  • Your child is having a hard time with separation, or is painfully shy

  • You've read lots of parenting books, but the strategies just don't seem to work

  • You find yourself raising your voice more than you would like, and it's hard to get your children to do the things they need to do

  • Your family is going through a stressful time, and you would like guidance about how to best support your child
